Weapons[edit]

  • Tri-Di-Roentgen Hand-Gun (Power Item )

The tri-di-roentgen hand-gun was a device that projected harmless 3-D x-rays which could render objects and/or living beings transparent. Initially built in a crude model form, it was later modified into a portable hand-gun. Maybe the tri-di-roentgen technology was later modified and spun-off to create other similar devices such as the Spy-Ray Lens and the Spectre-Suit.

AI & Robotics[edit]

  • Life Model Decoy (LMD) (Artificial Retainer )

A Life Model Decoy (frequently known by the abbreviation LMD) is designed to function as an exact body double for VIPs. Their design is such that they mimic the subject's outer appearance (i.e., fingerprints, hair, all details of the skin), speech patterns, scent, iris and retina patterns, body language, thought patterns (to fool telepaths), and any other biological indicators. Aside from any invasive procedure or strong EMP, they are indistinguishable from the original.

Notes:

  • Wild Bill (Artificial Retainer )

The robot nicknamed "Wild Bill" by Nick Fury was a security robot constructed for S.H.I.E.L.D. by Tony Stark. After being sent to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, the robot was activated by a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent for a test before Stark had checked it himself to see that it was ready. The robot ran amok, firing at anyone it saw -- including Nick Fury -- until a S.H.I.E.L.D. technician shut it down. "Wild Bill" is equipped with a number of firearms, including laser guns and gas guns.

Notes:

  • Portable Distorter (Power Item )

Worn on an individual's hands, the units broadcasted inaudible frequencies which could upset any opponent's nervous system, as well as throw off his sense of timing, rendering him unable to strike a physical blow. At some point, the Portable Distorters were developed by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ordnance division and given to an agent to test in a physical combat training session. When Colonel Fury walked into the training session, he saw the agent with the Portable Distorters holding off an "attack" of six others armed with pugel sticks.

Notes:

  • Overkill Horn (Power Item )

The Overkill Horn produces sonic vibrations so powerful that they can tear through any substance up to secondary adamantium in strength. They can also trigger nuclear warheads with their vibrations. Overkill Horns seen thus far have been both mobile and immobile. Nick Fury conducted a test of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Overkill Horn to see if anything could withstand its power. He encased himself within a protective armored chair for the test, but the blast still tore it apart, injuring him, and managed to detonate a nuclear warhead miles away.

Notes:

  • S.P.I.N. Tech (Power Item )

During the earlier Civil War, the pro-registration side had created special technology to inhibit and/or remove the super powers of those who opposed registration. This was widely known and publicized. However, what wasn't known to the public was that they had managed to miniaturize the technology into nanobots. It could be fired in special adamantium-tipped ammunition which could pierce the skin of any known individual, and thus render them unable to use their powers, causing them to no longer be a threat.
